On the day that I decided to begin the experiment, I went out to Willington Pizza with Cory, Peter, BigTim, and a few
other guys. One of the first things I noticed was that there seemed to be an abundance of drop-dead gorgeous women working
there. The other guys seemed to agree. We noticed at some point one of the waitresses grabbing one of the waiters from behind
and dry-humping him, jokingly. As she walked by I said to her "You know if you did that to the customers you would get mad
tips!" She smiled and went about her business.
Then at one point the guys dared me to ask if she was dating the waiter she was flirting with, and that if she wasn't
to ask for her number. Since I wanted to prove to my new friend Tim that Im not a pussy, I decided Id go for it. She proved
to be more elusive that I'd thought, so I probably looked kinda dumb sitting on the edge of my seat looking past Cory's head
waiting for her to be in a good position for me to go talk to her. Finally I just got impatient and decided the next time
I saw her Id get up whether she was busy or not. When I did see her I got up and made my way down the hall and of course as
soon as I was about halfway there she dissapeared into the kitchen. I decided I would just wait outside and pretend to look
for the bathroom until she came out. When she did, she stopped right in the doorway when she saw me. At this point it occurred
to me that she somehow knew I was trying to talk to her and she had been avoiding me. I found that interesting right there.
What was she afraid of? That a 16 year old might want to talk to her?
In any event, when she came out I said to her "Hello!"
"Hi," she responded, seeming a little creeped out.
"What is your name?" I asked.
"Alex" she replied, almost reluctant to give me that much.
"Hi Alex, my name is Eric." I paused for maybe a second before saying "Are you dating anyone right now?"
"Yes," she answered, "quite seriously."
"Oh really?" Then, only for the sake of conversation, I asked "Are you engaged?"
As she showed me the ring on her hand she said "Yes."
"Oh, wow!" I said, and before I said anything else she said,
"I have to go work in the kitchen now..."
and as she walked away I said "Ok, Ill see you later, Alex."
We had a good laugh about it in the parking lot, and Cory told me that one was worth documenting, and I agree, so here
it is.
I found it very interesting that this girl, who was probably in her early 20s, would seem so creeped out by a 16 year
old guy. Im obviously not the first person to think shes hot, does she get like that everytime a person with a penis tries
to engage in conversation with her?
