This wasnt a very long conversation, and I again didn't get the guy's name. Im thinking I might just not worry about
that any more. Lately Im lucky if I can get myself to just talk to a random person. I had a good opportunity though the other
night when me and the guys went carousing. There was this big car show in putnam, and we stopped at some point on the way
home and got out. I saw a guy in a yellowish-goldish mustang convertible and when I had a free minute I went and talked to
him.
"Did you have this at the car show?" I asked.
He replied, "yep."
"Cool" I said, "What year is it?"
I couldnt even hear what he said but he mustve said... a number Id bet.
"Oh, cool." I said. Then I admitted to him, "I really dont know anything about cars. I just know this looks cool."
He laughed. Then he proceeded to explain to me how he got it from his brother or something, there were still a lot of
cars leaving the show just down the street and they were all revving their big spiffy engines so I couldnt hear a lot of what
the guy said, but either way he was just telling me about his car and I just said "Oh cool" once in a while.
I guess its cool that even guys with nice cars will take the time to shoot the breeze with some teenager who doesnt know
anything about cars. So there you have it.
